Izyum (a city in Kharkiv Oblast [region], close to the border with Donetsk Oblast) is still seeing  the fiercest fighting in the Kharkiv oblast. Battles continue in this vicinity.

Source: the Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov, broadcast on the national telethon

Details: Oleh Synehubov reported that the aggressors haven not withdrawn from Kharkiv. Russian invaders continue their "illogical chaotic shelling" of the city.

Izyum remains the hottest spot in terms of fighting in the oblast.

Verbatim: "Battles are taking place around Izyum right now. The enemy has realised that they have already lost the battle for Kharkiv, and they are therefore making a detour near Izyum to further relocate to Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts."

"We have evacuated another 1,500 people in the Izyum district, - from Barvinkove village, - in order to avoid a possible theatre of operations."

Our armed forces are at their positions… 4 enemy aircraft were shot down there in one day. And the enemy is suffering serious losses. "
Background: The Deputy Mayor of Izyum, Volodymyr Matsokin, reported that up to 20,000 residents of the city need to be evacuated, but the Russian occupying forces have been blocking the "green corridors" for almost 20 days.
