Brigadier General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Hruzevych believes that after regrouping its troops, Russia will try to carry out a second offensive against Kyiv.

Source : Briefing by Brigadier General, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Hruzevych.

Quote by Hruzevych: "Now it [the enemy - ed.] will redirect its forces in order to achieve at least one goal. I doubt that it will be successful, but the likelihood is that there will be an attempted offensive agains Kyiv.

Judging by the remaining forces, one of the options for the development of events, after regrouping, would be a second attempt to capture the capital. Definitely. This would allow the enemy to create its own conditions to emerge ‘victorious’, because now Russia, like a ‘wounded wolf’, is only holding onto its own propaganda."

Details: According to Hruzeyich, a third of the troops surrounding Kyiv were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders, and another third was transferred by the enemy through Belarus to the borders near the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

However, one third of this group has remained on the territory of Belarus.

The Brigadier General assured the public that the Ukrainian military leadership is aware of the Russians’ plans and is taking measures to defend Kyiv and the surrounding region.
